I have a laptop that has XP Pro on it.  It has quite a
bit of data on it I need to save.  It started to give me

   I have installed Quickbooks 2006 onto my admin acct. but I cannot run it
from a limited user acct. Further research reveals that I need to create a
"power user" acct. I can't find any way to do this, and Dell wants $ up

Sometimes I can copy some test from my local XP to the remote desktop of
Windows 2003 Server,
but sometimes cann't.

This service acts a little strange....
In other occasions it starts downloading the new updates right away

 I have Windows XP Professioal on my Dell Laptop as pre-installed. It
only supports English. So I go to "Control Panel" -> "Reginal and

Have just realized that my computer is serviced by a family friend and if he
checks my temporary files he might find some 'embarassing' ones!  Is there
any way I can permanently delete them and save family humiliation? Yes I do
feel suitably stupid posting this question!

I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 and had ran the latest Windows Updates at the
end of December 2005.  I lock my workstation when I walk away, and when I
come back I simply enter my password and I am instantly brought back to my
desktop ready to go.

I want to turn off the option where everytime I rollover an icon with the
curser I see a box with the file's content. Can anyone advise?
