I have a DVD+-RW. I'm trying to burn a DVD using a DVD+R disc. It won't play in my DVD player or my computer. Am I using the wrong type of disc? I get no errors while burning...it just won't play. Help....I'm really new at this & haven't found an answer yet.

unable to load windows xp home. it wont boot from cd rom. have looked in the bios and it says that the cd drive is not present, yet it was working fine before my old hard drive died. I dont have a floopy drive so im stuck Any advice?
