After getting a "Low Virtual Memory" warning for a few weeks when signing on to the internet, I changed the VM setting to "System Managed." I continue to get the warning, and the paging file size is now 287MB. I'm running Windows XP with 256MB of memory. Would

When I Click "Turn Off" to shutdown my computer the system goes through the shutdown, and then immediately restarts..!! I suspect it must be a setting, but I don't know how to adjust it so that when I click Turn Off it actually turns itself off like it used to.

I have seen this post in several places but no answers yet. I cannot get to safe mode, the back up to last known good boot will not do it, I just want to get to safe mode with minimal drivers so I can trouble shoot. Any help appreciated. Thanks, old coot in Texas.

I have a laptop with xp home edition abd purchased a copy of xp professional. I need to upgrade but need some tips on how to install xp pro, wipe out xp home edition, but still not lose my important data. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated! Thanks all!

I used system restore and restored the system to try and remove viruses and spyware. after restoring to a date all of my documents are missing. My Documents folder is empty. I searched the HDD including hidden file and folders but found no documents. PLEASE HEPL!!!!
