Hello, I have a new Winxp home laptop. I have a desktop win xp at my
business. when i take the laptop to work, i want to be able to use the LT to
open  files that are on my desktop (which has all my business/work files)

this is my problem:

I have been told that it exists a pice of software that analyze a WindowsXP
isntallation and comes with suggestion for improvements.
Where can I find this pice of software?

We just had MS XP Home installed on our Dell computer.  In the task bar near
the clock, the pop up text for several of the icons is hidden behind the task
bar.  You can see just the top of the box, but not the text.  Other icons
have the text pop up show clearly in front of the ...

About once a week, when Windows XP Pro is loading, I get a message:
"One of your disks needs to be checked for consistency"
It's always C drive, & the check always ends with the advice that no problems
were found.
