I am having a problem that I am using Windows XP Media Centre Edition
with Localization Pack of Traditional Chinese. I have 4 users in this
computer and 3 of them using English and one using T. Chinese. Now that
I can finish the above setup. However, the welcome screen remains to be
taskbar customize notification area only shows "Hide when inactive"18 Oct 2006 15:20 GMT2
In Windows XP Pro sp2 with all applicable updates when I try to change
the status of the taskbar notification area icons from "Hide when
inactive" to "Always hide" or "Always show" the latter 2 options are not
available.  "Hide when inactive" is the only option available.

I have a motherboard that supports up to 4G of ram.
I would like to segment half of that to a ram drive.
Can XP do this on its' own or is there any software

Hello, XP users.
I have an external hard drive connected to my XP Home computer.  I have a
newer, larger drive which I want to put in its place with all the data from
the old drive.  So I need to copy the data from the old hard drive onto the

I have a partitioned hard drive (C-F).  System Restore is "monitoring"
the C partition only (15GB free space).  Over the past two weeks, I have
only two restore points, one created by me and one created by System
Restore both on the same day.

I have a program that is used by my photo software. It deals with raw images.
When I run the software it says the file is not installed but when I run to

Hello, all,
My kid was playing on my PC, and somehow rotated the display onthe
monitor by 90 degrees counter-clockwise.  I cannot figure our how to
rotate it back.  Please, help!!!  I have Dell running Windows XP.

Was hoping someone would be able to kindly assist... I have experienced that
when sending attachments (excel, word or pictures), some of the recipients
receive the email but with NO indication of any attachments, while others
receive everything fine.

New Activation when NO HARDWARE has changed?
After antivurs installation, Windows made me "reactivate" when no hardware
had changed. I reactivated in 3 seconds. But what is going on? I don't want
this to "count against me" should I ever actually change hardware!
