Hi. My current OS (XP) boots on C partition. I want to rename this partition
as W (W from Windows) (obviously, I want my XP still boots on this new W
partition). What are the steps? thanks.

When I attempt to access C:\documents and settings\all users\documents I get
the "access is denied message." I went to article ID 810881 that explains
how to change the folder properties to allow me access. This is a quote from

i can find it on the computer but cant work out how to reinstall it back.

I have a number of documents on one of my computers and cannot open an
of them but the photos will open.  Also l cannot open microsoft word.
It says l do not have enough memory but there is plenty.  It is no
connected to the internet, the other computer is.  It is Microsoft 98

Never really thought about setting up user accounts as I am was the only
person who uses this Media Centre computer. So I switch it on and 60 seconds
later it is at desktop. Recently my Grandson would like to use my computer

A friend has a machine with XP-Home on it which suddenly fails by repeatedly

Sorry if this is a really dim question ...
I often make use of the BBC's 'Listen Again' service available via their
website.  This enables me to listen to particular interviews from programmes
during the day which I was not able to hear 'live'.

Which one should I be using,  Normal Startup or Selective Startup and why?

A new downloaded program does not show in All Programs link in Start menu.
I created a shortcut to the executable on my Desktop as a workaround.
Is there a way to add a new program to the All Programs in the Start menu?
