I have tried everything to delete a file with 0 bytes. I have checked its
attributes and changed them accordingly. Didn't work.
I have tried a "shredder" on it, but no good.
I booted to a safe mode with dos window, and still couldn't delete it.

I have xp home as a file server with 4 workstations connected. When I try to
connect #5, it says I already have reached the maximum number of

Windows Home XP with all updates and service packs.
I've routinely, when I want to move files around, opened two file
explorer windows.
This has never created any problem, except recently.

I cannot receive instant messages from an internet site.  I have allowed

After reformatting my harddrive and reinstalling Windows XP the "sleep"
button causes the PC to crash.  I hit the sleep button and I am informed via
an error message that Windows has encountered an error and must shut down,
