I had to format the hardrive on my laptop and reload XP.  All went well until
I tried to use the media player and there was no sound.  I checked in 'Device
Manager" and no driver.  Can someone tell me where I can get the driver?

I have went to Safe Mode to remove a trojan Horse  and now I can't get back
to Normal Mode

Recently I my Control Panel Add or Remove Programs folder "lost" all of the
programs.  How do I restore the listing so I can see which programs to
uninstall?  Thanks for the help.

I have a Windows Xp Pro machine under a Server 2003 std Domain. The problem
appears when a try to print large documents (7-8 pages) on a local printer,
windows seems to freeze and in Task Manager the cpu usage is up to 99%.

I am trying to get a still picture from an AVI file. I play this file in
Windows Media Player, pause at the frame required and then press PrintScreen
buittom on the keyboard.
However an attempt to paste the clipboard into Paint gives a strange effect

I cannot get windows to open "help and support" from the start menu and I
cannot get windows to open any "troubleshoot" information for such things as
