I encountered a strange problem a little earlier. USB support on my XP
Home based laptop stopped working, so I went to shut down and restart
Windows. The machine never responded to the shutdown command. After

I see quite a number of files with a .tmp extension at the location:
Windows\Internet Logs\
These files are not found where the othrer TMP files are usually found  at
Documents and Settings.\Local Settings\Temp

I have a large number of programs installed on my computer.  There are so
many that when I go to Start and then All Programs, I can't see all of the
programs.  Any ideas how I can either arrange the items to see them all?  Is

Whenever I start XP I get a message on the start up screen, telling me I
have an unread message.
I use Incredimail for my email and have no unread messages.  I only buse OE
for newsgroups.

a new one, and installed my old drive in it, as a
