When I click on a link in Outlook Express, the Internet Explorer window opens
in a minimized mode. In all other situations, the IE window is maximized. How

When I double click on a file it always goes to search rather than open. When

When I open Windows Explorer, it opens with the "Start Menu" directory
highlighted but hangs up there for a couple of seconds.  After that happens,
I can switch between directories normally and quickly.  Does anyone know how

I've just discovered restore points and have rolled the system back a week
or so, but some recent files that were living on the desktop are in hiding.

I use Win XP Home SP2 on a Pentium 4 laptop with CD burner QSI DVD/CDRW
SBW-161.  Recently, I've been unable to burns CDs with WinXP, Nero 5 or
CDBurnerXP Pro 3.
