Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the 'AOL Safety & Security Center?
I have tried to delete it (e.g. uninstall,etc.) but it somehow reestablish's
itself in my system. It no longer is propagated in the install/uninstall list
in Control Panel. It does not appear in> START> ...

When XP shuts down I get a brief message something like: THIS DRIVE IS NOT
READY FOR USE, BE SURE IT IS CLOSED, CHECK "A" DRIVE.
Now, there is no A drive on my machine!!
What is XP talking about?

In my \WINDOW\spool\Printers folder there is a file FP00001, 9,330,447 KB in
size. I no longer need it printed. I originally got around the file clogging
my printer by uninstalling/reinstalling the printer, HP Lazerjet 1000 Series.
I want to delete/remove the file. How do I do ...

The maximum size typeface on Word is 72pt. I can enlarge this with the zoom
but this also enlarges the background. I wish to print  an extra large
heading of 144pt. on A4.  Is this possible?

I helped a friend backup his files to .bkf files, then we reinstalled his XP
Home. Backup/rstore is now missing and the .bkf files are the usual "generic"
icons. What have I missed? I thought Backup/Restore was a core part of the
Windows install... is it installed in another way?

I installed Virtual Earth 3d and the 3d components only show up as blue
figures. Where can I find help with this? I reviewed the ten FAQs, been to
the forums, searched Microsoft's site and as usual got a zillion non related

Something happened to my Personal Folder in Outlook (not Outlook Express,
but just Outlook). But I can't find it anywhere.
I tried reinstalling Outlook, but it seems it kept my Personal Folder.

I just installed a new slave hard drive. both are jumpered for cable select.
They show up in the bios and in the device manager but not in windows
explorer. when I go to "my computer" it shows my main drive and my external
drive but not my new slave drive.....??????

I have been in a chat room and have made each rooms windows smaller...each
time I bring a room or profule of a person in that room up in a window view
it is of a size that I have made it to that is small How do I get that window
back to a full screen each time I click on the ...

Is it possible to move standard windows folders like My Document, My Music
etc from system partition C: to newly created data partision F: ? And will
windows recognize the new placement??

A brand new Dell Demension E510 & the sound recorder doesn't work.  No matter
what's done.  The microphone is anot at fault.  
Even Dell tech help was a waste of time.  I don't want to do a system
restore.  What should  do??

I'm setting up a new computer after mine crashed.
In the past I created web pages by writing html code in notepad. Now, my
html pages in Notepad won't save as web pages. They will only save as .txt
files. Somewhere is a place to change my html editor, but I don't know where

When XP starts, explorer.exe uses 95-99% of CPU according to Task Manager.
Ending the process and restarting explorer.exe from Task Manager seems to
solve the problem until the next restart.
Anyone have any ideas why? And how to fix it? TIA
