Using Widows XP Home - Automatic Updates grayed out - can't access13 Nov 2006 20:22 GMT2
Had a major problem when I downloaded Internet 7. Had instalation help and
Tech hepl from Microsoft to get it installed and to fix all the system
errorsmessages/problems on start up.
All fixed after 5 hours of help. But I notice now that under my Security

I have been told that we can only use WindowsXP once.  That is,  we can
install it on one computer and that is it.  We can't format the drive and
start over.  No.  I am told that once you put it on, than that is it.  No
more.

I keep losing the power icon on my laptop.  Windows XP.  I reset it in
Control Panel and checkmark to display the icon on the taskbar, but reboot
and it's gone.  Any help out there.  I want to be able to keep track of my
battery charge.  Thanks.

My taskbar and start button are grey.  I rec'd online support this weekend
and and also ran OneCare live this weekend.  I have lost the Windows XP style
under appearance in Display.  Can you help me?

Quite a time ago I asked, when I went to windows explorer, how I could
open it expanded rather than closed up only showing local disk, desktop
and a couple others. Thanks for any assistance, again.

In Win ME "My Documents" were in the root directory (C:). After an upgrade
to XP I find "My documents" in the third level subdirectory  and to access
(i.e.for email attachment) I have to "drill" to get there.
I understand that " My Documents" is a system directory ( I am not sure ...

My system halts very often. During the last three weeks I wrote down two
different stop errors:
1. stop: 0x00000023 (0x000E0100, 0xF3654314, 0xF3654010, 0x8054AE34)
2. BAD_POOL_CALLER

I have several folders in which files are named: C-01-001.xxx, C-01-002.xxx,
C-01-003.xxx ... C-01-080.
I would like to rename the files as: C01-001.xxx, C01-002.xxx, C01-003.xxx,
etc. In other words simply remove the dash following the first character C.

Hatcher isn't the only player with a bad +/-.  Seems like most of the
Flyers are going for the all time record in the N.H.L.  He is the worst
though.  Why they don't send him down to the minors is beyond me, and
why did they bring up Nedved ?...  I think what they might be doing ...
