Environment:

Any ideas why when either rebooting or just starting it up, that the internet
isn't autoconnecting? I always have to go to the start button & select
"connect to".

I have a harddisk with 3 partitions, C, D and E
WXPpro + all the rest of my programs is on C and now that drive is becomming too
small
How do I delete D and E so the HD only have only one partition  -  I do not want to

I have Virus Busters appearing every day on my desktop telling me that I am
infected and join Virus Busters to sort the problem.
As I am fully covered my system I don't need this.

I am new to XP.
I would like to see the file extension ( .exe, pdf etc) in the Details view

When I 'moused over' the Time at the right end of task bar it used to change
to display the Date.  Now it does not do so, except sometimes I can get a
sliver of a date showing slightly.  I can drag the task bar up to increase
it's size and then the day and date show but on the ...

I'm having this problem with a PC... The problem is, the PC logs off
whenever any user tries to log on. This has been happening ever since
someone inserted a VCD into the PC, which had some autorun application
written to it, just for the sake of preventing it from being copied.
