While I guess this may not be directly a WinXP question, does anyone know if
it is possible to configure a standard keyboard to emulate the mobile phone
keyboards, with the "predictive" feature, ie. to do all your typing via a
number keypad ?  I am just interested if my typing ...

Hello there. Yahoo mail won't operate properly. When I try to start it
an error message appears that it can't find ymmapi.dll. I guess that
it is a yahoo specific file but maybe it could have disappeared from
the XP installation.

As you might guess, I installed IE 7 and had a problem.  My HP printer would
not work.  I uninstalled both the printer and OE7.  I now have IE 6 and a
reinstalled printer.  I still get a script error on line 1344 and message
that the problem is in ://C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdoclc ...

I am using IE6, have been since I got the computer.  For some reason today
anytime I go to my home page I get a box that comes up and says "stack
overflow at line:0.  Does anyone know what that means, and how to stop it?
Also every now and then I have another box that comes up ...

I am visually impaired and cannot see the sliders in scrollbars.  In Win2K
they were perfectly visible.
On the Display dialog Appearance tab the advanced button leads to
“Scrollbar” in the drop-down menu.  However the ONLY thing which can be

I can only go back about i month in  OCT i could go back to SEPT but now we

I am attempting to install Windows XP Service Pack 2. It advises me to back
up all files before installing. Is this necessary? I have sooooo many files
and not alot of time. Some files are backed up already, but not all. If
nothing bad will happen, I would like to skip that step, ...

Win XP Pro, SP2, LinkSys WRT54g router.
I don't know when it started, but somehow, i have an Unidentified Internet
Connection icon in my Network Connections/Internet Gateway.  If i look at
the properties for it, it only has a General tab with a Settings button.

When I insert a music CD into the CD-ROM drive, the CD opens in WMP and the
music plays - all as it should be.
However, if I close WMP and then sometime later  go into My Computer and
double click the CD icon to listen again I get the following error "This

I need some help.  My WMP is acting very erratic at best, and I am getting
very frustrated trying to play the free radio stations on
