I would like to reformat my hard disk. I have the installation disk for XP pro service pack 1. I have since installed sp2 and subsequent updates till now. Is there a way to keep these updates and use them for re installation once the hard disk has been re formatted?

I am unable to save directly to a CD from Word/Powerpoint/Excel. When I try to save, a message displays "Incorrect function - Unable to save to D drive. See your administrator for access to this folder" I would be grateful if you could let me know how I solve this problem.
