When i use SW_SHOWMAXIMIZED to show my window in maximum size will the windows OS takes care the task bar there at the bottom? I mean will the window be shown on the full screen without the task bar or the task bar will be shown.

Are there monitors which do not work well with XP? When I boot XP my "ViewSonic" flat panel often does not initialize. XP boots fine, but I have to press the windows button, then u and u again -I memorized that :-) to restart.
