When I right click on a file in windows exporer and then click on 'Send to' I normally have to wait up to one minute for the sub menu to open with the choices. Is there any way to find out what the problem with this is?

Under C:\documentsand steetings\owner\Local settings\Temp In that temp folder is a file called VCLCFH ect and they are really big files. Are they necessary to run windows xp home edition?

I am reinstalling Win XP over a version of WIN XP in hopes that I am wiping the hard drive clean. Would this be enough to clean the HD or should I just replace the hard drive? Basically, I have to return to my employer and don't want them to see what I had on there

We need more space on our hard drive. Is there a way to acquire size info of folders through just a standard Window? Other than right-mouse clicking on each folder, I want to find out which folder uses the most space from within the parent folder. Thanks.

My wife and each have a user account; when I download a new program it appears on both our desktops. When she removes the shortcut form her desktop, mine disappears. Can these be disconnected so we can each have a customized desktop? How?
