Yesterday, I was listening to music on my laptop through earphones,
when the sound cut out in my left ear. Thinking it was something wrong
with my earphones, I tried unplugging them and replugging them into the
sound jack. Eventually, the sound on my laptop cut out entirely. Now,

I've been receiving a strange error message, recently, when I left-click on
my NetZero Icon, but I can still use the NetZero mini-icon (taskbar toolbar?)
and in the Start Menu.

For some reason, when I try to get to my Firewall/Security settings I get a
"Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot access your Firewall
settings."  Does anyone know where this is coming from or better yet, how I
can make it go away?

If someone can clear something up for me I'd really appreciate it. It
concerns the partition setup screen during a clean reinstall setup.
When you reach the partition selection screen, considering you will be

when i open a folder or task bar folder they always appear very small and I
have
to maximize the folder to get a full screen effect....what can I do to have
all folders, etc open full page.

If I run Spybot S&D or Ad-Aware, does it scan my whole system or just the
account that I'm logged into at the time? Maybe I need to be in an admin
account to ensure that all accounts (both limited and admin) are scanned, or
does each account have to be scanned individually ...

Hi all. I just edited the File Folder object to add the "Print
Directory Listing" command. However, it changed something else too.
Whenever I double-click on a folder, instead of opening that folder it
opens a search. Any idea what I did and how I fix it? In the "File

I'm running XP SP2 and IE7 with all updates applied.  The Search For:
function of the Newsgroups is not working for me.  (I've even tried a copy
and paste from an existing post).  Any ideas?

Anyone have suggetions for a good inexpensive DVD authoring software?
I use Windows Movie Maker for creating the movies and now I want to
burn them to DVD.  I'd love some menu templates and stuff like that.

I just wanted to check something. There is apparently a program on my
computer called NukeNabber. Looking on the web it looks like this is an okay
program. But MacAfee's keeps asking if I want to remove it. Should it be
kept or not? Thank you.

when a disk or usb stick is inserted the Menu shown does not allow me to
make a default selection (no tick box)
