Im running windows XP sp2 it seems that when you select a printer and try and
run properties nothing happens nothing ever shows.  and when I select

Hi- I'm using Opera as my browser and email program.  I'm tired of,
periodically, having to open Outlook Express to remove all mail.  Eventhough
I've deleted messages on Opera they remain on OE.  Can I remove/disable OE
and still get my mail?

When I re-boot, eg from VNC remotley this Dell XPS PC stops at (NIC
Failure) and I have to hit F1 to continue the boot. So I cannot re-boot
remotley. I have replaced the on-board NIC but in the boot sequence the
on-board NIC gets looked at. I have switched it of in the setup menu

I work at a school and one of my users is the journalism and PR lady.
As you can imagine, she uses USB card readers and external hard drvies
alot.
She also has several networked drives that all my users have and need.

I am trying to make changes in my IE 7 Internet Options. I would like to
change how cookies are handled. I know how to do it and where, but when I
make the changes in the dialog box, the "APPLY" button fails to light
(become other than subdued gray) so that I can make the changes ...

I have a desktop running Windows XP Home.  I recently bought some Durabrand
Speakers from Wal-mart, nothing fancy, real simple speakers.  I hooked them
up and only one speaker works.  I've done all I can to figure out how to make
it work but I can't get the other one to work.  ...

Is there a way to copy some piece of text, and then copy a different
piece of text and then paste both pieces of text somwhere else without

When you hover over some desktop icons, system entry fields, and various
other fields a yellow tinted box opens up with either help or a
