One of the people in my office has been having issues with her computer
freezing out the mouse for several months now. We've switched USB
ports, we've switched mice, we've installed different software- all to
no avail. The mouse works fine for a week or two, or maybe less, and

Hi all~
 I am new to the group with a weird question.  I love my windows XP 64
bit system.  But I do like the ilife 06 programs.  Was wondering if
anyone knows what would be the equivlents of the ilife software?

Some  programs won't start .
Error states the Attributes are set to "read only" , when I remove the "Read

My video ATI video card will let me save a certain screen brightness and
contrast but every time I start XP I have to select the saved setting,
the screen is very bright.

My machine automatically downloaded IE 7 which corrupted my computer and it
looks like the only think I can do is re load XP.  Can someone tell me where
the Outlook and addressbook files are stored?  I cannot fine any pst or wab
files.

I have windows XP professional and also SP2. However, in the Control Panel /
security I do not see firewall Icon. The security seems to be turned off. How
do I get the firewall up and securtity turned on!

i want to know what happens when u right-click on the desktop or my
computer and select refresh from the pop-up menu..
i thought the icons, files etc will be restored to their initial
states.
