Anyone know how to get rid of the ABC headings? Explorer seems in capable of remembering how I want to view folders. Not ususlly a problem as I can put it back... but this time it's sorting files alphabetically and putting A B C...etc headings

My system memory usage seems to be odd When i look at thru Windows Task manager Performance, i can see 346 MB memory being used by memory, but in the process i can see 44 process, if i sum up all then it comes up around less than 100 MB.

I had an audio cd of an audio book by PG Wodehouse from the library, and I wanted to make it into mp3s to listen with my Zune, but listened to the book, deleted all files and there is a folder in my documents called Jeeves (if the name matters) and the folder is empty, I delete

All of a sudden, even with the box labled, "Show icon in notification area when connected" checked, I do not get the little icon showing up in my taskbar. Any idea how I can get it back? Thanks for any help in advance. Ron Sheets

I rebooted my PC this morning and got a message saying that I had to re-activate windows within 3 days. Anybody see this before I never downloaded anything & have had same XP Pro for 3 + years, & cannot remember the License number now.

Using my genuine UK Windows disk I have reinstalled windows XP prof SP2 in my 87 key Sony Vaio pcg-gr215sp laptop. My keyboard has lost its " and £ and instead I get the US layout of @ and #. I have double checked the region and in Control Panel/Regional and Language settings ...

I use the program "Parsons Address Book Deluxe", a Windows 95 or 98 vintage program. It works fine with Windows XP except for the click on an e-mail address to create e-mail; I can do without. But will it work equally as well with Vista is my concern.
