Hello, I am dealing with a WinXP machine that disconnects from the dialup connection and dials another number which is not listed in the dialer under alternates. The dialer has been deleted/recreated and not helping. Any suggestions?

My computer reboots at irregular intervals, and indicates it has "recovered from a serious error". Other than that, it is working fine. Any thoughts on what the source of this is, and where I should start to look to solve it? Thanks in advance!

I just got a laptop with XP Pro, plus a lot of unwanted software. When I go to view a picture it is opened by Corel Snapfire (a constant nagging piece of worry). My desktop pc opens all pictures with Windows Viewer/Fax, which is what I want to happen on my laptop.
