Unlike missing CD Drives....I have an extra CD Drive that just created it's
self.
I'm sure I can delete it (it's not in Device Manger....only in "My Computer").

I am attempting to reinstall XP with a complete wipe of the disk first.
Early in the process, I mistakenly selected "dynamic update," where some
update files are first downloaded from MS.  However, dynamic update
disallows deleting old partitions, and I can find no way to tell ...

My computer had been running fine. I left it on overnight; in the

I've just reinstalled after a wipe, XP - now
moving a window with the mouse or scrolling are very ugly, sluggish
and even a wavy effect appears, I've tried changing the config. and smooth

when i click on an icon to show up on the screen, it does not appear on the
bottom where my start bar is.  how did this all of a sudden happen? when i
hit the restore down button it dissapears instead of going to the bottom of
the screen.  what did i do or change for this to ...

What would make OE6 show all messages as bold font in the upper pane,
whether they are read or unread?  They appear unread even when read.

Google search returns nothing for it but I am almost certain it is a
