I was attempting to run defragmenter when I was presented with a message that chkdsk was scheduled to run first. On each attempt to run chkdsk it says unable to obtain exclusive rights to the volume. I would like to know if there are any ideas on how to get this accomplished.

A right-click on the taskbar shows all options available, however when 'Toolbars' is selected from these options all the listed toolbars are greyed out. What can I do to make these available again? Thanks.

Just today a shortcut in the quick launch toolbar stopped taking me to the correct directory/folder. I've deleted and re-entered the icon/shortcut to no avail. How do I get this simple function to work correctly ?? TIA

I have Diskeeper 2007 on my desktop which has a LAN on which my laptop is connected. Both computers are running XP SP2. Diskeeper is not installed on my laptop but my laptop does have dfrgfat.exe in \windows\system32 and this program frequently runs all by itself.
