I have a several-year-old Dell with Windows XP.  The CD slide tray says that
it accepts DVDs, but it appears that there is no software activated to view
DVD discs.  Is there something buried in the innards of the machine that has
to be activated . . . or will it require purchase ...

I have been receiving a error message when I boot up my PC. It comes at the
very end of the start-up, after all the desk top icons are showing and
programs have loaded.  The message I receive is:
Remind_xp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.

users in the Uk are going to be ripped off yet again by being charged DOUBLE
the prices charged in USA. Let's boycott Vista in the UK until this rip-off
