We've got a wired home network; my daughter's computer, my computer and a 160 gig NAS Iomega hard drive. (There is also a network printer) Does it cause a problem if my daughter and I access the drive at the same time? Will it allow us to both access the drive at the same time? ...

My Dad has a Linksys Router that does not have wireless. He just bought a Netgear Access Point WG602 v3. When he puts in 192.168.0.227... it does bring up the admin log in for it... but the default password does not work and it just seems to die.

When I try to put my computer in one of these modes, they are unavailable. I don't know why, but all I can do is shut down or restart. Does anyone know how it got this way and how I can fix it?? Thanks so much.

my laptop has a touchpad mouse and when i first got it, the syneptics pointing device program always ran at startup and i was able to scroll down just pulling my finger along the side. now on startup, the program doesn't start and I have to manually start it in order to scroll ...

Is there a compatibility problem? In other words, are the files from one readable by the other and is the rendering (essentially) the same? Or are they totally different except for use?

Running WinXP Pro with SP2 I am running a DFI PS85-BL rev. B mobo with an Intel P4 and 1 Gb Ram and a 150 Gb Hdd with 20 Gb free. Installed Intel USB System Check and indicated FULL support for USB.

Window Defender detects spyware/virus/adware and quarantines and files indicating they are in archived status. If one was to go Safe Mode and then run a Virus/spyware prog like Norton IS, would this clean the files out of one's system?

My laptop modem will disconnect just after initially connecting to my internet provider and then redials my internet provider, same number. I have IE7 and Microsoft XP Home Edition. It is a Sony GRX520 Laptop. Any ideas from anyone?
