Is there any way of getting to use the Install/Repair option (specifically fixmbr) on a system that comes with oem recovery disks. Googling would indicate not but I thought I'd better check here. The installation disks do appear to have a complete i386 folder.

When I try to open a file and get the open file dialog box I would like to set the default on the "View Menu" to the DETAILS option rather than the LIST option that it is set to now. It is a pain to have to change that option every time.
