Start-My Computer-My Network Places, the network places open up! Is there a
way of  fixing the Start-My Network Places menu item?
Install repair on oem XP Media Centre edition24 Feb 2007 08:42 GMT2
Is there any way of getting to use the Install/Repair option (specifically
fixmbr) on a system that comes with oem recovery disks.  Googling would
indicate not but I thought I'd better check here.  The installation disks do
appear to have a complete i386 folder.

When I try to open a file and get the open file dialog box I would
like to set the default on the "View Menu" to the DETAILS option
rather than the LIST option that it is set to now. It is a pain to

backup of my music files on a DVD-RW by dragging and dropping and
installed a new hard drive. Now when I pop the disc in the explorer
screen shows no files even though it recognizes that the disc is full.

My machine came with Windows 98 which I upgraded to Win XP HE and I have the
CD. Is it possible to install XP HE on a slave drive using just this CD?
Will there be a conflict if the master drive has the OS and a second copy of
the OS is on the slave drive?
