Suddenly my computer will not boot up. The black screen with Windows XP appears with the blue thing moving across, but when that disappears I get a message saying, 'No input signal'. It seems that the monitor has no input at that point.

How can you set the codepage. I apparently misunderstood instructions when I tried: mode con codepage select=850 because it stayed as it was before.

I think my old thread has expired. When I do a search, I get a list of files. How do I convert that list into a text file which I can import into Excel? When I do "ctrl-alt-del" I get a list of tasks. How do I convert that list

Intermittently, after dropping my system out of screensaver, before or after the monitor has powered down, i get a "Windows-no disc" errror mesage. I have to put in the XP OS cdrom and click the "continue" radio button and it goes away only to randomly crop up another time.
