Suddenly my computer will not boot up.
The black screen with Windows XP appears with the blue thing moving across,
but when that disappears I get a message saying, 'No input signal'.
It seems that the monitor has no input at that point.

 my notebook is acting weird in last few days. It started running slow out
of nowhere, takes forever to start up and to shut down as well. And it's
working slow in general. Even sound is in slowmotion, no matter if I am

Intermittently, after dropping my system out of screensaver, before or after
the monitor has powered down, i get a "Windows-no disc" errror mesage. I have
to put in the XP OS cdrom and click the "continue" radio button and it goes
away only to randomly crop up another time.

I am running Windows XP Home edition.
I did a update patch of the above and the installation was successful.
However, my pc refuses to boot up when i did a restart.
I have tried to boot from floppy and from XP CD to try to do a repair but I

My Sony Vaio hard disk is constantly being accessed every few seconds even

I use Windows XP Media Center Edition and lately my computer has started up
really slowly. And I have always thought that (I might not remember correct
though) that the blue line (with Start and the clock) was toned, starting
