May someone can help. Here's my problem, Everytime I try to open a file the file dialog windows goes to My Documents (a folder I never use) . How can I change this? Preferrably to the last folder I used with the program used. Say textPad.

The hard drive in my wife's Dell D-600 with XP Pro died and was replaced by the dealer with a new install of XP Pro. We lost all added applications and data files. I just got Humpty-Dumpty back together again and need some back up plan for the next time a HD dies.
