I have been experimenting with Ruby.

Normally I leave the laptop in hibernation mode when it's not in use, but

I have a customer who has the Drive Icon in Windows Explorer associated with
a program.  Double-clicking the drive icon launches that program.

I'm using XP HE SP2 and in one of my photo programs, Photoshop 7.01 when
I use Save As on any file, for example a .tif file, the program used to
replace the .tif with whatever I was Saving it As, for example a .jpg.
For example, shot.tif, Save As .jpg and the file became shot.jpg. ...

System crashing every other day!
Clock and date come up wrong all the time.

used to be I could partition and format un-used HDD space in xp's
computer management. Now the only option available is "properties" and
"help". "new partition" is grayed.
How can I fix this?
