I recieved Windows XP with my laptop, but did not get the office element of
it.  What office product would you suggest puchasing?  I am a student and
need it for school.

When I start my computer I get a message that says:
Windows Registry Recovery
One of the files containing the system's Registry data had to be recovered
by use of a log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful.

Within the past two days I noticed I no longer get the "Safely Remove
Hardware" Icon on Task Bar when I plug in USB drives. The Drives work
fine, but I don't know how to insure it is safe to remove them.
How can I get that icon back.

When spell checking, I add words to the dictionary, to facilitate future
spell checking.
Can anyone advise where this dictionary is kept, so I can back it up
regularly?

Attempting to establish peer-peer home network with two Dell desktop sytems.

Hi, After deleting, and then emptying the *trash,* are emails still on the
hard drive somewhere?  Hidden?  The emails were not saved in any way.  And if
they are still on the computer somewhere, how would one go about cleaning

How do I get the color out of my desktop?

I performed a system backup and it ran out of space. I started with 33%
memory and now have 0%. The System Restore checkpoint has dissapeared and I
want to know how to undo the backup or delete the file it was backed up to.

My computer will not shut down I tried unchecking the 'Automatically
restart' check box, with no results. As soon as I shut it down it just
restarts the same as if I selected restart form the start menu.
