In My Docs I have an empty file (Type: File/0:bytes) with no extension. I am unable to delete or open it, can anyone please help me to get rid of it? (XP Home)

I am encountering difficulties in opening documents. When I click onto a document, it sometimes take 5 minutes for the document to open. How can I fix this? Could the antivirus software be causing this problem? Ad-Aware Plus Antivirus software was recently installed on my PC.

I have saved an .eml file into My Documents. When I go into Windows Ezplorer and try to drag and drop this file onto my cd drive (in my case D:) I get an error message that the D drive is not acessible.

When I change a file name by right clicking and selecting rename, it will not show the new name until I hit the refresh button from the top menu or go to a new window and then return to the previous one. Any ideas?? Thanks, Steve

If I delete or rename files or folders, they still show until I go back to a previous folder and then back again to the folder that contained the files or folders. Also, if I copy to my folders, the files do not reappear until I switch folders.
