Registry settings for Start menu21 Mar 2007 19:55 GMT1
Where abouts on the registry is the user's start menu kept? I'm migrating to
a new hard drive, and although i dont want to just import the old menu,
having some sort of printout of it would be nice to refer back to when I'm
installing the new drive.

filing cabinet display21 Mar 2007 02:16 GMT4
Hello everyone,  I use a shortcut to open up 'filing cabinet' to see all my
folders.  It automatically opens up the window and it goes to the "My
Documents" folder and expands it fully.  Below this expansion is "My
Computer" and a couple other folders not expanded.

Years ago I bought a XP desktop and found I could not play an old Dos game
on it (Masters of Orion).  It reported that I needed expanded memory, even
though I was setting up expanded memory. Well, they warned that some Dos
games wouldn't work, so I forgot about it.

Virtual PC - won't give me any memory!20 Mar 2007 21:12 GMT9
I downloaded Virtual PC to add a W98 system.  It started to install the
operating system, but told me I only had 4MB of RAM and needed 16MB. (I have
512MB on the computer).  I tried to increase the RAM, but it said the
recommended was 0mb, and wouldn't let me increase it.
