Where abouts on the registry is the user's start menu kept? I'm migrating to a new hard drive, and although i dont want to just import the old menu, having some sort of printout of it would be nice to refer back to when I'm installing the new drive.

Is ther a key that that will start Safe Mode on any computer? I have found the on some the Ctrl key works or sometimes it's an 'F' key that's required. Thanks

I cannot write to a cdrw. It says CD writing wizard "Insert a writable disk to continue". No problem writing to a cdr. Thanks in advance. Bob

Hello everyone, I use a shortcut to open up 'filing cabinet' to see all my folders. It automatically opens up the window and it goes to the "My Documents" folder and expands it fully. Below this expansion is "My Computer" and a couple other folders not expanded.

Years ago I bought a XP desktop and found I could not play an old Dos game on it (Masters of Orion). It reported that I needed expanded memory, even though I was setting up expanded memory. Well, they warned that some Dos games wouldn't work, so I forgot about it.

I downloaded Virtual PC to add a W98 system. It started to install the operating system, but told me I only had 4MB of RAM and needed 16MB. (I have 512MB on the computer). I tried to increase the RAM, but it said the recommended was 0mb, and wouldn't let me increase it.

I used the cd gone pache to fix my cd drive. then i rebooted. now whenever i click on my cd drive with audio cd in it, it says "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel."
