I posted this same question last week and got the suggestion to free up disk
space on my C: drive - which I did (I now have 53G free on my 111G  C: disk)
but the same strange freezing behavior keeps happening!

I don't know why they've disappeared, but I just noticed my folders no

The latest update is causing an error at boot time. Something including
"user32.dll." It tells me that the program would not operate properly and

Sometime ago, I realized that my Add/Remove feature does not list any
programs. I had to purchase a separate software package in order to do this.
But now that program does not even work. I am sure it was one of the SP2
