I posted this same question last week and got the suggestion to free up disk space on my C: drive - which I did (I now have 53G free on my 111G C: disk) but the same strange freezing behavior keeps happening! What else can this be?

I don't know why they've disappeared, but I just noticed my folders no longer have the blue 'File and Folder Tasks' lists along the left hand side. I'd like them back again, but I can't remember how to restore them. Anyone able to advise please?

Sometime ago, I realized that my Add/Remove feature does not list any programs. I had to purchase a separate software package in order to do this. But now that program does not even work. I am sure it was one of the SP2 updates that caused this program....PLEASE HELP
