I created some audio-visual content on my XP n loaded it in CD (read
only).
But now i wish to alter its date showing property of'  'Modified'.
(it has got three of those date properties:-  'Created', 'Modified' ,

Ive been building and troubleshooting computers for a couple years now for
friends and such. One thing I dont understand is how a freshly formatted
drive could be fragmented. This just seems crazy to me. Some files cant be
moved or deleted like some Media player Uninstall files. ...

Fonts disappear on the Start button. Buttons on windows dont show any text.
Most of the times XP would not respond when this happens. The only way is to
hard boot the laptop. Reinstalling XP Home doesnot help.
This happens randomly and Event log does not have any warnings or ...

i am using win Xp and when my system boots, the folder:
c:\windows\system32  is always opening automatically.
i tried to remove this from start up by going to msconfig and registry
but i could not find this path.

I am useing windows XP.  I added aa aftermarket program, Kodak, that auto
starts on bootup.  At least one third to one half of my boot time is this
program.  I wish to take it out of autostart and make it start only when I
need it.  Can someone tell me how to do this??

Help! When I try to us the spell check in Outlook express the following

At this Microsoft site http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321379 it tells how
to add a Print Directory function to your Windows XP system.
My questions is, instead of "printing" the directory, I'd like it to make a
text file of the directory and it's subdirectories.

Okay, this is going to sound dumb, but i cannot get my sound to work...
Troubleshooting says there's no problems, nothing is muted, and my volume
bars say they're up as high as they go...

If I use my USB flash drive to view my business files on a public
computer (W2K or XP OS), are there traces of those files left behind
(shortcuts or whatever)?

I have a simple question that I can't remember how to solve.  I have a
CD Rom that launches the installer automatically every time I put it
in.  What's the command to be able to access the actual contents of
the CD in an explorer view?

I am using a backup system and if I need to restore I would like to know what
the outlook data file looks like Specifically contact list ?

Hi, I'm encountering the following error messages:
Process ID = 0xeb4 (3764)   Thread ID = 0xeb8 (3768)
Debug fails. No icons open and there are no applications appearing in the
task manager.

When I right click on a folder and select properties, the
subsequent windows displays only three tabs - target, general and
sharing. What do I do to make it show "security"? Thanks.

I am running Windows XP Home SP2 w/o problems for two years.  I am set to
allow Microsoft to download upgrades etc automatically.  A few  weeks ago
the following programme appeared "Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications
KB905-17-4"  This CANNOT be removed using Control Panel ...
