I've just recently recieved a DELL latitude D820 with windows XP
service pack 2 installed. I've been installing different kind of
software, when I've noticed, that @ is disabled. The 2-key works fine,
and so does Alt Gr. I've tryed to remove the keyboard from

Need help in uninstalling a remote accessing program called "Log Me In."  It

Is there a link where the stand-alone SP2 file can be downloaded? I can only
find it as an installation download. Reason: My nephew only has access to
dial-up and I'd like to D/L the file for him.

I am trying to schedule the disk defrag and I cannot seem to find the
application in any of the windows including Browse. Can some one help me out

Hi, I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with XP home with the latest updates on
from Microsoft. On two separate occasions lately while logging into my
administrator's account, I've received a dialogue box entitled:
"Windows - Registry Recovery"

After restoring my computer, I am able to use Outlook to send and receive
emails okay.  But Outlook Express seems to be timing out or hanging there
and I can't get the emails.  I have Panda virus protection software on the
computer and even tried removing that, but it didn't work ...

On my laptop(Toshiba, windows xp sp2) I can read a cd, all of the 662 mpg
files but 14 files wouldn't copy to hard disk. On my 1 desktop I can copy all
the files, write them to a new cd and then copy them all to the laptop. On a
2nd desktop it show me 0 files 0bytes when I insert ...

Anyone know of a way to switch a window to explorer view after it's
been opened as folder view?
Example:  Open My Computer.  Go to C Drive then to Program Files.  Now
you want to switch this window to look the same as if you had browsed

For some reason, my touch pad stopped working - well, part of it. I can
scroll up and down, and left to right, but I can't double click form the
center anymore. I explored the "control panel" for my pointers, touch pad,
and mouse... but nothing worked. Any help???

I recently had a problem with my dell computer and had to load a new (fresh)
version of windows.  I am running Windows XP Media Center Edition.  
Everytime I restart my computer a little error box comes up that says--.dll
could not open.  What does this mean,  and how do I fix ...
