I was able to install Windows 2000 on multiple home computers. I installed XP Media Center Edition on one of my computers and it keeps prompting me to officially register.  It says I have X number of days to register.  I am wondering whether I will be able to load it on other ...

We just upgraded our computers from Win2K to WinXP. I have a Nikon
CoolPix S3. On Win2K, I used to put the camera in the cradle and plug
in the USB cable. The camera appeared as another drive (E, F,
etc.). From there, I could copy the photos wherever I needed.

When I click on Search nothing happens.  Also the System Restore will not
advance beyond the first function block.  I think the problems are related.  
Any suggestions for a cure.

Hi,  I just bought an MP3 player.  When I tried to install it through the usb
port, a found new hardware wizard popped up.  I went through that and it said

failure.  I tried to install on a different computer and it installed

when i start up my computer i get an error message saying it can't find

ihave looked in regedit and msconfig and there is no such file. help please

I have a small network to connect, two XP systems (one 32bit, the other
64bit) and a Linux box.
The XP systems are both fresh installs, but they just don't want to talk.
(net itself is ok, ping etc)

When I try to print from the help file of a program or from the internet all
I get is a page number and a line at the end of the page. I'm using XP Home
