I sometimes see a NIS icon appear in the top left hand part of the screen when in Internet Explorer, what triggers the icon to appear? ( I can see NIS in the add-on list as a toolbar). Can I activate the toolbar myself or does it have to be triggered by the NIS software ?

I am about to finish my digitalisation project and have put all my CD's in mp3 format. For the moment all MP3's have been stored in one folder. There about 22000 MP3 files. This is roughly 140 Gig. Now my system is getting really slow. If I open the MP3 folder, to move one

I run several machines on my home network and they sometimes download the same files from windows update site. Is there anyway to do this so that I only have to download the file once and point the other computers on the network to that file.
