I just purchased a microsd mobile memory kit.  It came with 2 adapters and a
1.0GB memory.  I have a windows xp 2003 home edition computer.  Where would I
insert the memory card?

Tech support says I need to repair missing files in order to boot my system.
To do this I must start the computer with the XP cd in. I do not have my cd
and must buy a new one. My question is: Do I have to by the full version or
will the upgrade work?

I have two machines which are connected to the internet via a wireless
router, one is Vista and the other is XP. What I don't seem to be able to do

I was about to install new ink for my Epson Photo R800 printer when I
pushed the power button and it never came on. I also plugged it into
another outlet to see if it would power on, but nothing happened. Then

At one time when I would click on a pdf file on a website it would open and
then continue downloading the file if it were a large pdf.  But now it wants
to download the entire file before opening it.  Is there an option for this;
and where is the change made?

I was useing Disk Cleanup in C:\drive, properties, General tab, to delete
some unneeded files, and didn't notice that Compress Old Files was selected,
and ran it. It took quite a while to run. I think my PC run's slower now.
(1) Would that be normal, to be running slower?

A mate (v. wrongly!) uses a pirated copy of Windows XP. Because he can't
receive updates - keeps getting a Validate your Windows - message ...and due
to his guilty conscience has decided to go legitimate.

When I have a program with an application, I uninstall it and try and
install it again.. however it won't allow me to choose location... there is
just run and save as the options.. Any help appreciated..

use of the PC. Nothing works 100%. My son can't stop playing online games. I
