Was looking in Task Manager and noted IE is sitting there being my #2 memory
hog (virtual).
I use FireFox now, so how can I keep IE from using so much virtual memory?

My parents are having trouble with their computer.  It is an older

A friend of mine has recently had problems with the Outlook Express
built into Windows XP.
When he forwards a message 10 or 15 copies of the same message get
sent instead of just one. If he just creates and sends a new message

Every time I try to defrag (WIN XP SP2), I get a message when I click
"Analyze" that chkdsk /f is scheduled to run, with a request to run it.  I
try, but it cannot run because the volume is in use.  (This is where the
Luddite part comes in):  Why all of a sudden does it do this?  ...

My daughter's Bebo page wasn't showing any images or video, her MySpace and

Help - We reloaded Windows XP due to a problem by reformatting drive and
doing a new installation.  All windows now all open maximized.  They used to
open in the smaller (not minimized) size.  When I look at assorted
folder/file preferences the window size is set to "normal".  ...

I made the mistake of trying the test your system online from the SPYCRUSH
web site... now it added spyware and addware to my system so my microsoft
security center keeps telling me to update my spyware "SYSTEM ALERT"  I have
two other programs Mcaffee for one and it will not ...

Have my machine set to dual boot with WIN98SE and XP, both work fine,
but....
When I reboot there are two different boot sequences which happen on
alternate boots, irrespective of which OP I am or  have been using.

  I am using windows xp service pack 2 os. Every time  my system
boots, it starts disk checking. When about 40% is completed on C
drive(where my OS files are there), system hangs.Before hanging, disk
check reports a lot of errors and corrects them sometimes. Only way i

Reinstalled XP to new folder then repaired origional. Operating from repaired
OS now but user/program settings were changed. Origional folder was saved to
"default" and all settings look to be safe. Restored outlook manually but
would like to change back to origional setting now ...
