I am trying to delete a user account, and I know how to do it, but the
computer freezes everytime and when I run it in safe mode, it shows that the
account has already been deleted. How can I make sure it is gone and delete
it in normal mode?

I am runing XP Home with all the updates. Recenly, I noticed that
my antivirus and spyware programs are scanning about 200,000 extra
files, and taking much longer to scan. For instance, the antivirus now
takes 3 hours, rather than the previous 42 minutes.

I like my folders to open with the same view they were closed with.   To
achieve this, I check the box under Folders > View > "Remember each folder's
view settings."  This works perfectly---except for ONE folder, which refuses

I have Windows XP Home, with all the updates.  When I run Disk
Cleanup, it takes about 20 minutes to come up with the files to be
acted on. That happens, even if I have already emptied the Recycle Bin
and also deleted all the Temporary Internet Files (not the cookies).

I'm running Windows XP on an Advantech single board computer.  The system has
a ps/2 mouse and keyboard.  The system will recognizes the USB keyboard when
in XP but when I boot the system with the USB keyboard plugged in and the

I am shortly getting a new computer running XP Home. I want to export all my
present XP Home Outlook Express. Inbox and all the folders etc. Can I put
the present O/Express on to a CD to transfer it or some other way?

I got a blue screen crash.................
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL    beginning dump of physical memory which
then takes forever to write a file called memory.dmp in C:\windows
How can I reboot next time and interrupt the 20 minute writing for memory.dmp?

I put this in the wrong group
If I freeze the Headings , I then cannot scroll using the mousewheel, if I
unfreeze the Headings then I can scroll again, I can move in the spreadsheet
using the arrows at the side of the sheet
