I am unable to install SP2 in my computer. It downloads ok but when it tries to install it comes up with different error messages and then unintalls the SP2 software. The messages usually pertain to different files missing. Any suggestions?

I am using Windows XP pro. I have moved all my photos and music to an external hard drive (F:/) in order to save space on my C:/ drive. However, I cannot find a means of browsing to allow the slide show screen saver option to look for My Pictures on the external hard drive.
