All of a sudden I can no longer login to my Admin account.
I get an error message to the effect that account have been locked out

I created a user account at one point and later decided to change its name.  
However, you can still log onto Windows using the old account name.  How can
I eliminate that account name so that only the new name is usable?

I have downloaded several programs and to open them and use them they need to
connect back to their internet servers but I am getting communication errors.
The programs will work correctly though if I am in safe mode.  Any

In Windows, opening C:\Documents and settings\UserName\Local Settings I do not see the
folder Temporary Internet Files.  However Default User does contain that folder and the
Content.ie5 folder as well.
