I know windows has short cut so that you dont have to type .com at the end. Instead one can do something else but i can remember what that is. I looked in the help section but cant find it or maybe i missed it there. If someone has it, plez pass it on to me.. thanks in advance

In a post below I wrote about trying to get the long date to show in the systray instead of the short date. Somehow, fiddling with regional settings etc. , now the clock is gone and the option in start menu options to "show clock" is greyed out. Help!
