Is there something that I could do to solve this problem. Every time I put a cd in my cdrom Windows Reboot. The CDROM is one year old and was really used just 10 times at the max. What driver or what else in windows could do that? Your help is greatly appreciated.

I was trying to download some software (the latest build of my firewall/antivirus) and the process started well from the donor web site. I got to the bit where, in a window, it says "Publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to download this?" ..I clicked "run".

I am running Windows XP on a Dell Latitude D610. It is the home edition. Interestingly, when I open My Computer, the flashlight (search) symbol appears and the page is blank for about 15-20 seconds. This is new. Any ideas?
