Is there a high speed connection available yet that will fit a poor man's
budget?
CenturyTel wants to sell me a "high speed" dial-up connection ($12.95),

My OS is windowsXP SE. How does one go about installing a program to one
user only and  not All users? Some installation programs have that option
but not all.

allow a standby button.  My Power Options lists Hibernate and I have it
checked to hibernate when close monitor or press Power button.  Nothing

accidentally deleted some items from this folder, but the programs seem to

I have Windows XP with SP2 preloaded onto my PC.  I want to set up the fax
capability, and get prompted to insert a disk when trying to configure it.  
The file it is looking for is fxsapi.  How can I download the necessary
files/drivers please?

One of my student at my school "accidently" clicked the "Remember my
password" button, is there a way to make the computer "Forget my password".

I've just got my laptop back from a repair. They replaced a duff LCD screen.
However the new screen doesn't seem to display as well as the old one. The
previous one was a 17" widescreen displaying at 1,440 x 900 and was a WXGA+.

installed on my machine: 1.1; 2.0 SP1; 3.0 SP1 and 3.5. Is it really
necessary to keep them all or could I dispense with the first thre and
remain with only Microsoft.net Framework 3.5
