When I try to shut-down my mavhine using Windows XP, it automatically
restarts. I checked for virus & there is none and no obvious event in the
logs either! What could it be?
BTW, I have also disabled (unchecked) "restart windows" option in the

My task bar indicator for  programs that are running, has disappeared and I

Last night my computer running windows XP SP2 suddenly froze up.  When
I rebooted none of the USB devices worked, neither the ones on
motherboard ports nor those on ports on a PCI card.  In device manager
