After playing a DVD, my monitor had a black patch down each side of the

If I go to a folder and choose properties the read-only box is always blue.  
If I unclick the box and click apply things look like they work.  But if I
look at the properties of the folder they always still show read-only.
Any idea why that is?  I can still use the folder and ...

I just got a new computer with XP pro installed. I thought it would be
like the home edition and allow me to install it on my other computer.
I was wrong. Apaprently only one computer can have it on

from a trusted wholesale company . comps have been scrubbed for security . my
question is will xp pro full version be able to put xp on all 6 comps? is

I have a XP Pro machine that when it reboots it loses the time and shows the
default of 12:00 am Jan 1 1601. The battery is good and the BIOS clock keeps
the correct time. Ran several spyware and virus programs and all come up
clean. Any ideas?
