I have several large graphic files in the recycle bin. When I try to EMPTY, I
receive a message that the file is being used by someone else. No one is
actually using the files. A different version of the same files are SAVED
elsewhere, that is why I'm trying to completely delete ...

Still not managed to rename 350+ files from eg. "MP031 Amazing Grace.ppt" to
"Amazing Grace MP031.ppt"
Any ideas, please?

change the icon from the properties box but the change will not

I recently encountered a problem with power options.  The symptom is that
there are no power schemes to select in the Power Options dialog.  Further,
all of the normal options are disabled (grayed out).
I tried using powercfg to import a power scheme from another system.  After

AutoRun is working on the 1 CD drive and two DVD drives.
However, the autoplay is not working.  I used the autofix tool and it
did detect errors in the autoplay V2, but it couldn't fix it.  This is for
all three drives.

If I format my HD and reinstall XP from fresh will I get automatically
the wifi module?

I'm in the process of building a new computer and I don't look forward
to updating XP. I'll be installing XP home edition SP2 but I'll still
have a boat-load of updates to install after that.

I cannot seem to watch shows online. I have cable internet, but it will
not play. I try to watch show on A&E and it just will not work, what am

When I want   to open any photo (for instance JPEG) , it opens with
"Quick Time Player" . Before it used to open with "Windows Picture and
Fax Viever" ,  which is what I needed. I know I can change to "Windows
