I waa looking at the "Exceptions" boxes in the firewall, and the only one
checked was "File Transfer Program"..  No other program was
checked including Firefox.  
I downloaded some files this A.M. even without Firefox being checked.

I deleted a file from MY DOCS yesterday afternoon by mistake and cannot find
it to restore it.  It was a pretty big file and it was not in my recycle bin.
Can you help me get it back?

Accidentally touching my laptop's touchpad often causes disruptive
unintentional actions.
(There's a control to reduce its sensitivity, but I already have that
set to the least sensitive extreme.)

When I select the all programs button on the Start page the display of
programs (menu) is off center.  To be more specific the page is slid to
the right about 1/6 of the screen width.  This allows me to read the
left column of the start menu easily.  However I cannot read the

I am using disk cleanup for the first time. I get a dialog box that says "

I no longer have the panel on the side of the window that gives me options
such as "view as slide show". Going along with that, I no longer have a side
panel on any folders....My Documents, My Pictures...anything. How do I get

I have been running XP Pro /SP2 w/   Santa Cruz audio card. No problems for
years. Suddenly maybe two weeks ago audio from many sources no longer work.
What does work AIM audio, MSM audio, Windows Media Player.
What does not work, Any Windows sounds like startup, shut down. ...

Tried the tweak on XP tweaks but it doesn't appear to work. Any ideas

We have several thin clients that have Windows CE for the operating system.
On a standard XP pc, we are able to properly lock a workstation with the
Ctrl/Alt/Del keys. However, that does not seem to work on the Windows CE
pc's. Any suggestions would be apprecaited. Thank you!

I am running XP Pro with SP2 and  I am building a new system for my kids and
was wondering if I can install the same operating system on theirs from the
same disk that I bought for mine Or do I need to buy another XP Pro package?
